Ways You Can Help in the Community

Help the Timberline Community

Gift Card Drive

As the closures extend, the counselors have seen an increase in request for support for families in need in our Timberline community. To help this cause, we are planning weekly gift card drives. Please read carefully:

Gift cards in need:
QFC gift cards - any denomination is welcome, where possible, please consider $50 or $100 gift cards. Please write the value on each gift card.
When to drop off:
Fridays from May 1 to June 19 from 10:30am - 12noon. Please do not drop off outside these times.
Where to drop off:
At Timberline Middle School. Our counselor, Toby Doyle will be setup at the parent drive loop right in front of the school.

We request you follow current recommendations for face masks and physical distancing.

If you are unable to get to the school and would still like to donate, you can mail physical gift cards (not online cards) to the school address:

Donate to your PTSA

Currently, the PTSA is working with the counselors to ensure our families in need will immediately receive the financial support they need. These funds are from your generous donations to our Pass the Hat program.

How does the PTSA help now and throughout the year?
Your TMS PTSA has been working year-round, using your generous donations to work with the school to ensure that our TMS families in need are provided for through our scholarship program, our grants program, our food drives, which includes supporting Pantry Packs. These programs which were already in place, are being used at this very time of need.

You can continue to support our Pass the Hat program by donating using the button below. This program helps to fund many TMS needs including the TMS Help program as well as Pantry Packs through grants to our counseling department. Because we are an official 501c3 charity, these donations may be tax-deductible and can be MATCHED by many companies, which will double your generosity!

Help the LWSD Community

Donate to Pantry Packs - Lake Washington Schools Foundation, which powers Pantry Packs, was forced to cancel its annual fundraising luncheon set for the end of March and is now running a virtual campaign. Consider donating to the fundraiser at www.lwsf.org/bethebridge if you would like to support the efforts of its worthy programs, including Pantry Packs.
