Volunteer Information

PTSA made possible by Volunteers

Thank you for volunteering your time at Timberline Middle School! Without you, many valuable programs and activities would not exist. Your time is valuable, and we are grateful for your volunteer efforts. We have several volunteer opportunities that can be done virtually this year as we start the year remotely.

How to volunteer?

All volunteers (virtual or in-person) must be approved by the Lake Washington School District. Before you start volunteering at Timberline, you must go through a screening process for the safety of students and volunteers alike. Follow this link to begin the application process. You will need a scanned copy of your driver’s license. The application takes about 10 minutes to complete and you will receive a confirmation email regarding your approval status within 2 weeks. Once approved, your status as an approved volunteer will last for two years.

Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities

We have many different volunteer positions - there is something for everyone. Some positions require a year-long commitment and some require just a few hours. Some positions are needed during the day and some positions are good for people who can only help in the evenings or on weekends.

These pages will describe the roles and responsibilities of all our volunteer positions.

Open Volunteer Positions

We will have additional opportunities to get involved with our various programs and activities throughout this year and will post those opportunities as they come up.

There are still some roles open for the 2023-2024 PTSA Board:

  • VP of Programs
  • VP of Advocacy
  • DEI Chair
