Are you in need of assistance? Please read below to find some of the many ways that our community can assist if you are in need. Grab and Go Student Meals

Lake Washington School District is committed to providing healthy and nutritious meals to students during much of the summer. The district will provide Grab and Go meals from the six satellite middle schools including Timberline until August 7, 2020 (no meal pick up from June 29-July 3). Specific details for this are found below:

  • Meals must be ordered between 2:00pm the previous day and 8:00am the day of the pick up. Link is found here: https://www.lwsd.org/meals
  • Meals must be picked up between 10:30am - 12:00pm. Please follow pickup procedures at the pickup locations.
  • Students must be present to claim their meal unless specified when ordering.

**Grab and Go Student Meals are free to all students**

 
Hopelink: Food

In response to the arrival of COVID-19 in our community, pre-packed boxes of food will be available for all participants to pick up. Just follow the signage to the door where they will be given out at your local center. Each household will be able to pick up enough food for 21 meals per person. You do not need to register. Go during open hours and you should be able to pick up the boxes.

Make an appointment: BOOK HERE or email to set up a time to meet.  Here are some things counselors can help with:

  • Delivering gift cards each week to families who need support
  • Lunch service or meal delivery throughout the week, let the counselors know and they can help set you up with that service
  • Support students in academics 
  • Help students with emotional health and social emotional strategies and techniques
  • Provide lessons on mental health and social emotional needs and supports
  • Support students with f uture planning and career exploration
  • Advocate for students, families, while being a consistent contact for questions or concerns

Meet YES Counselor, Rowan Crowley

Hi there! My name is Rowan; I am a Behavioral Health Support Specialist with Youth Eastside Services (YES) working closely with the Timberline counseling team to provide a variety of services! 

What I do:

  • Drop in hours for students, parents, and teachers to problem solve a specific issue or learn more about setting up counseling
  • One on one brief counseling for anxiety, depression, substance use, and a variety of other difficulties you may be facing
  • Group counseling
  • Educational presentations on a variety of mental health and substance use topics

How to reach me:

  • Drop in hours are held every Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm on Zoom. To register please click here. After registering you will be sent a link to the meeting, simply click that on the Wednesday you registered for between 2 and 3:45pm.

Pantry Packs, powered by the Lake Washington Schools Foundation, provides weekend food packs for food-insecure students each week.
