Volunteer Information

PTSA made possible by Volunteers

Our PTSA runs on volunteer power. Whether it be at the Board level or for one-time events, we'd love for you to get involved!

First Step - Volunteer Approval

All volunteers must be approved by the Lake Washington School District. Before you start volunteering at Timberline, you must go through a screening process for the safety of students and volunteers alike. Click HERE to begin the application process. You will need a scanned copy of your driver’s license. The application takes about 10 minutes to complete, and you will receive a confirmation email regarding your approval status within 2 weeks. Once approved, your status as an approved volunteer will last for two years.

Volunteer Opportunities

Events: We occasionally have opportunities throughout the year to volunteer at Timberline or at a PTSA event. These opportunities are generally advertised in our newsletter and on our Facebook page, and posted on our home page HERE. If you would like to be notified by email when a volunteer sign-up is available, please email [email protected].

PTSA Board: There is something for everyone! Some positions require a year-long commitment, and some require just a few hours. Some positions are needed during the day and some positions are good for people who can only help in the evenings or on weekends.
